In Loving Memory of Nancy Carlson
With heavy hearts, we share that our dear friend and faithful volunteer Nancy Carlson went home to be with the Lord on May 7, 2026.
In honor of Nancy’s life and legacy, her family has requested that memorial gifts be made to Hope Renewed, supporting the mission and community she cared so deeply about.
Nancy was one of the very first people to believe in our mission. Long before our doors officially opened, she and her husband Rich were faithfully by our side, rolling up their sleeves and helping wherever help was needed.
From organizing and cleaning to encouraging and praying with us through the busy early days, Nancy’s joyful spirit and servant’s heart left a lasting mark on this ministry. We truly could not have made it through those first few months without Nancy and Rich.
Nancy lived out her faith in the most beautiful way — through kindness, humility, generosity, and love for others. She never sought recognition, but her impact will be felt here for years to come.
While our hearts grieve this loss, we are deeply thankful for the gift of having known her and for the countless ways she blessed our community. We take comfort in knowing she is now resting peacefully in the arms of her Savior.
